In 1961 an unknown Bob Dylan arrives in New York City from Minnesota with his guitar and his talent.He is destined to change the course of American music.

He forges relationships with the musical icons of the time; Woody Guthrie and Pete Seeger and later Joan Baez.

His enigmatic and difficult personality are reflected in this musical biopic, as are the great songs he was writing during that decade. A stunning performance by Timothee Chalamet as Dylan.
