The Project, lead by Arthur Musk in September 2007 , was created to bring together all the photographs sound memories and other documents that village people have about the village and to scan these into an online archive which can also record information about those images and documents. The project was managed by a small committee, Tim Heaps, Norman Buckley, Simon Manning, Alex Manning and Chris Lavender. who are gave their time and skills for free. There was no public funding or support from any bodies outside the village.
In 2015 the Wenhaston Archive Project was wound up as there were no local people prepared to run the project any longer.

This Wenhaston Village Archive is the core of the Project and holds all the images, sounds and documents that were gathered together with the information that was researched about each item. If you have any questions or if there is any further information you can offer us do get in touch at wenwebsite@outlook.com
